TV Career Snapshot

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to play a role in informing communities about some of the most impactful moments in recent history. The video below was created for the Upper Midwest Emmy Foundation Student Production Awards, which I hosted alongside my husband, Ben. The purpose was to give the audience a taste of my time in TV, from college through some of the biggest stories I’ve covered. The video spans more than a decade, from starting out at my student TV station, to learning from some of the best journalists in the industry during major breaking news, hurricanes, a global pandemic, unrest and moments that changed the lives of millions.
